About Us

Hello! We are Fox and Kassidy, a couple driven by adventure, education, community, deep nature, and intentional farming. By trade, we are wilderness educators and guides with an equal passion for regenerative farming, permaculture, low-waste construction, and much more. We have travelled all over the United States honing our homesteading skills on multiple farms, as well as in the pursuit of adventure. Kassidy has been a sea kayak guide in the Kenai Fjords of South Central Alaska, while Fox has been a backpacking and climbing instructor in Wyoming, Alaska, Washington, and beyond.

Additionally, we built our own tiny house on wheels with nearly all recycled items from people’s garages, barns, and basements. We have been living out of this for nearly 6 years now! Which has been an adventure of its own! Throughout our experiences, we have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills in addition to our homesteading skills of: growing food from seed, greenhouse building, machine work, food preservation, construction, animal husbandry and care, and much more. We are dedicated lifelong learners and learn best by doing. So, we are excited to get our hands dirty and help support your vision for your property while you are away!

Meet the Team

    Kassidy O'Donnell (She/Her/Hers)

    CO-FOUNDER

Kassidy is a passionate environmental educator whose goal is to connect people with the natural world. She stays connected to the land through gardening, farming, homesteading, and caring for animals—practices that shape not just how she teaches, but how she lives her life. Whether she's exploring the woods with preschoolers or sharing stories with elders, Kassidy brings curiosity and joy to every outdoor learning experience.

She's also deeply passionate about building community and believes that strong, connected communities are key to creating a more sustainable and compassionate world. When she's not teaching, you’ll find her making music, snapping photos, or getting her hands dirty in the garden. Kassidy truly shines when she’s working with plants and sharing the magic of nature with others.

    Fox Stoddard (They/Them/Theirs)

    CO-FOUNDER

Fox is an avid outdoors person and youth advocate. They have spent the last 14 years working in various youth development programs, including time spent deep in the backcountry with students in Wyoming, Colorado, Alaska, Washington, California, Arizona, Tanzania, and more. They have stood on the summit of both Mt Denali (tallest peak in N America) and Mt Kilimanjaro (tallest peak in Africa). In addition to their backcountry pursuits, Fox has a deep affinity for working with farm animals, specifically goats. Fox is committed to providing a high quality of life for farm animals to ensure that the daily life of these animals does not induce stress or neglect.

Lastly, as a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, Fox uses their skills, and voice, to create spaces for queer folk to feel welcome, accepted, and valued. Especially in places that have been historically exclusive to them: the outdoor recreation world and rural farming communities.

    Quinn/Quinny Boo

    THE BEST BOY

Quinn is our sweet little boy! He joined the FarmStayr team in December of 2023. He quickly became a loyal, playful, and obedient family member. His upbringing included lots of other animals, including cats, chickens, other dogs, and more. Since he joined our crew, he has spent a lot of time with cats, dogs, goats, and other humans. He has been nothing but excited, friendly, and respectful of all these animals’ personal space. He will follow Kassidy around all hours of the day, trotting along at her side. He will give passionate cuddles, energetic kisses, join you on long hikes, and more. He was raised outside and loves being outside. And of course, if you and your property desire not to have Quinn be part of the picture, we will make sure to accommodate your requests.
